Two pubs holding records for the longest and shortest names in the world stand just 50 yards apart on the same street.
The Old Thirteenth Cheshire Astley Volunteer Rifleman Corps Inn,known locally as The Rifleman, was added to the Guinness World Record book in 1995.
The pub reopened in 2019 with new owners, who decided to keep the incredibly long name - even though they were charged by the letter for the new sign outside.
Pictures show the sign, which comprises a whopping 55 letters, stretching all the way across the front of the building.
New aerial photos show how the extravagantly named boozer stands almost side by side on Astley Street,Stalybridge,Greater Manchester, with a pub known simply as The Q.

'It might seem like quite a small thing but The Rifleman really puts Staleybridge on the map.'
She added: 'The fact we're so close to the Q Inn is such an amazing coincidence.
'That the two pubs with the longest and shortest names would end up as neighbours is unbelievable.'
